These are one of my favorite appetizers because they're so simple to make. After breading the bread, dip it in an egg wash and then in seasoned flour. To do this, you will need a baguette or French baguette. The flour mixture is 1/2 part breadcrumbs, 1 part cornmeal and 3/4 part flour. Dip the bread in this and let the excess drip off."

 

Once the excess is gone, add about two teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce to each side of the fennel bulb before placing them on top of the crisscrossed garlic piece that's been cut lengthwise into strips.

 

Bite-size appetizer portions. They are so cute and are great for the holidays.
